Mission Statement

“To connect and engage alumni in meaningful ways that promote the well-being of our school and its students. We aim to foster lifelong relationships among alumni and between alumni and our school, and to provide opportunities for alumni to give back through volunteering, mentorship, and philanthropy. Through our efforts, we seek to advance the quality of education and overall experience for current and future students of our secondary school.”

AFSSOSA Goals & Objectives

The objectives of the AFSSOSA Ikeja shall be:

• To seek the general welfare of all members of AFSSOSA Ikeja.
• To provide a forum for all members to discuss matters of interests and benefits thereby promoting solidarity, fellowship, love and comradeship among old students of the School.
• To maintain and utilize relevant records of all members (bearing in mind their rights to data protection acts).
• To provide means of communication between members and relevant authorities in all matters affecting members or the School, where necessary.
• To reinforce in all members, a high sense of loyalty, discipline and national unity, while ensuring their fullest participation in AFSSOSA Ikeja activities and National Development in general.
• To initiate, develop and execute plans, projects and programmes, aimed at supporting AFSS Ikeja, the students, teachers and members of AFSSOSA Ikeja, towards achieving overall growth and development of AFSSOSA Ikeja and the School.
• To initiate, develop and execute plans, projects and programmes, aimed at supporting AFSSOSA Ikeja members’ families, the Nigerian Air Force Community, charities, the less privileged and the wider society both locally and globally.
• To encourage the establishment of Excos for all sets current and in-coming.
• To promote National Unity and integration among the diverse peoples, cultures and religions of members of the association.
• To encourage the development of leadership skills among students and alumni of AFSS Ikeja in particular and Nigerians in general.
• To advocate and influence policies and enactments in manners favorable to AFSS Ikeja at all levels of government.
• To provide avenues for networking and collaboration among members.
• To undertake projects or anything that is reasonably incidental or consequential to the furtherance of these aims and objectives.
